First Aid Training for the Pony Club

It is the responsibility of all Pony Club Branches & Centres to ensure adequate First Aid Cover at all events and activities. Our Regulated First Aid Courses have been adapted to ensure that the unique activities undertaken by the Pony Club are fully catered for.

PCUK Compliant Courses

How we tailor your First Aid Training to PCUK Standards

Child Adaptations

Child Adaptations

Child Adaptations

image142

There are many occasions where children are treated differently from adults. We make several paediatric adaptations in our courses to account for the differences in CPR, Treatment, Consent, Monitoring & Communication. Standard EFAW & FAW courses do not cover children.

Concussion

Child Adaptations

Child Adaptations

PCUK understandably has very strict and specific regulations regarding the management of those with concussion. We have worked these protocols into our courses and provide additional training over & above that of a standard first aid course.

Equine Hazards

We ensure that your first aiders are fully aware of PCUK Policy & Procedure. We closely follow any changes made by the Pony Club and ensure that these are delivered in training.

Equine hazards and practicalities are very different to regular workplace. Our courses are tailored to cover the additional risks around horses and how they can be effectively managed.
