Level 1 Fire Safety Awareness - Half Day

Course Information

Our Fire Safety Awareness Training Course is designed for all employees as an introduction to fire awareness and is an excellent ingredient in the induction programme of new employees.

  • No previous experience required
  • Fire Safety Order 2005 Compliant 
  • OFQUAL Registered
  • Taught by experienced trainers
  • Interactive & engaging delivery techniques


All learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide the organisation with Emergency First Aider’s that can provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner.

Duration

4 hours


Syllabus

A range of subjects are covered including:-

  • The common causes of fire
  • The behaviour of fire 
  • Legislation (brief) and responsibilities 
  • Fire prevention 
  • What to do if a fire breaks out 
  • How to use fire extinguishers 
  • Emergency evacuation procedures


Assessment

Continual assessment is used, combined with a number of observed practical activities and a short theoretical assessment, supported by our experienced trainers.

Numbers

16 learners per trainer (multiple trainers available)
