• Please arrive in good time for the course.
• You must attend the entire course to achieve the qualification.
• There will be 2 x 15min breaks and a 30min lunch break

Free parking can be found in certain locations along the North Embankment (October-March), which is less than a 5 min walk from the venue.

• Please wear comfortable clothes which will enable you to kneel and lye on the floor. 
• We do not advise you wear high heels or skirts. 
• Due to Covid-19, we have to keep windows open to ensure a clean flow of air, please dress accordingly!
• Please bring a form of photo ID.
• Please bring a pen.
• You will be provided course paperwork, materials and a manual on the day.

Lunch is not provided - there are multiple food outlets in the town, including an M&S Simply Food, less  than a 5 min walk from the venue.

Workplace First Aid is classed as essential education and therefore is permitted to continue. There will be a number of covid secure requirements which must be strictly followed:

• Please do not come to the training if you are displaying any covid signs or symptoms or are meant to be isolating.
• If you start feeling unwell during the course, let your trainer know immediately.
• Please follow the full instructions of the trainer in regards to covid safety
• Please wear a mask at all times, apart from when seated and at 2 meters social distance.
• When walking around the venue please observe social distancing (2 meters).
• Windows will have to remain open to ensure a clean flow of air, therefore please dress accordingly.
• Hand santitiser and hand washing facilities will be provided.
• Manikins and all other equipment are sanitised before, during and after the course.
• If you believe you are going to cough or sneeze, please leave the room and wash your hands before re-entering.
• As per Resus Council UK Guidelines, currently we are not performing rescue breaths on adult based courses.

If you develop Covid-19 symptoms within 2 weeks of attending the course, you are required by law to inform Certifi Training.

There is no study requirements prior to this course.

• Please let the trainer know if you have any injuries or medical conditions that may effect your ability to conduct practical activities.
• Please let the trainer know if you are pregnant - this will not effect you being able to complete the course, however there will be a number of precautionary adaptations during practical activities to ensure your and your baby’s safety.
• If you have a learning disorder (such as dyslexia) or you speak English as a second language, please let your trainer know and they will be happy to provide further assistance.

Certificates will be emailed shortly after successful completion of the course.
