Despite the relaxation of guidelines, it is prudent as a first aid training organization for us continue with several precautions. This is due to the hands-on nature of our courses, the welfare of our learners & trainers, and because many of our trainers (and our learners) work in healthcare and therefore vulnerable people. In addition to this the Resuscitation Council UK which we are required to follow as per the HSE has not yet changed its Covid Guidelines.
Please do not come to our course if you have tested positive for Covid. We are retaining our Covid Refund Policy: If a learner has tested positive, they must not attend training. Please contact: 01803 446002 or firstname.lastname@example.org. To offer a refund or a last-minute (within 7 days) transfer we will need proof the positive test. This can be: an NHS letter or proof of a positive covid test (LFT or PCR). This must be dated and have their name or contact detail. To ensure other learners' and trainers' safety, we are asking our learners to take an LFT (Lateral Flow Test) prior to attending training (preferably within 24hrs). Our trainers will be doing the same. If you start feeling unwell during the course, let your trainer know immediately.
Please follow the full instructions of the trainer regarding covid safety:
Please note that covid precautions may change depending on government and industry guidance.
We understand this can be a concerning and stressful time, and we do not want to add to this. If you have any concerns or want to talk to someone about training options, please contact us and we will be happy to help:
